New Clothes
February 16th, 2003 | by Tony Steidler-Dennison |As you can see, Frankly had a small change of clothes today. I decided that the old look and feel was starting to feel a bit crowded. I wanted something cleaner and simpler and here you go.
I also ran a bit of a change under the hood. Movable Type 2.6 is out. I was able to update with only one minor problem. I like the additions to 2.5 that I’m seeing. As always, they’ve done a fine job.
Last but not least, all local machine development for Frankly is now being done on a Debian Woody box. I still have Red Hat on the primary machine at home. I’ve just shifted all development tasks to the Deb box.
All in all, it feels like a pretty productive lazy Sunday.

Tony,
I have enjoyed “Frankly, I’d Rather Not” for several months, While the new Look is nice, I can’t reed it. I am unable to change the text size in the Browser, or even copy to a text editor to increase the font size.
Any suggestions?

Nice chages Tony! I like the new, cleaner look to Frankly.
I’m looking forward to reading more of your thoughts in the future!

What browser are you using, Cin?

Tony:
I was using IEXPLORE Version 6.0.2600.0 on a Toshiba 1755 notebook with Win ME.
When using my Linux systems, RedHat and Lycoris, “Frankly” opened and displayed beautifully! As I don’t have access to another Windows box (and ME wouldn’t be on the Toshiba if I could get Linux to install and run a Windows CAD program) I will assume this is a Win ME issue.
Thanks for all of the food for thought in your Blog, and for “Lockergnome Penguin Shell” which made my migration to Linux easy.
