Truer Words

It’s been very interesting to look back at some of the previous entries here in the past few days. I’ve taken to looking back at any entries in the archives for the current day. So much of what has been written and pointed to here still rings very true even three years later.

There’s this entry, for example, from October 7, 2002. It actually points to this entry from Doc, which notes:

The real problem, I believe, is not weapons of mass destruction. Its the stories we tell ourselves. And by “we” I mean everybody. It is in pursuit of our stories that we use our weapons.

This seems so relevant three years later that it’s almost spooky.
