I watched most of this game today (short of the 45 minute nap during the fifth inning!). Call me a goofy optimist, but I think this helps the Cardinals. Both the Astros and the Braves just looked wiped by the end of the game. The plus for Houston is that the NLDS doesn’t start until Wednesday. That’s a plus for the Cardinals, too, as the starters will have plenty of rest.
