Weekly Saturday fun

This week’s edition of The Roadhouse was a particularly fun edition to do. Part of that fun was the addition of Blind Pig Records to the stable of labels. They have a great catalog that’s very, very deep. It’ll make for a lot of great music in upcoming shows. The other piece of joy this week was the feeling that I’ve finally landed in a place of comfort with the show. The process is working, the sound quality was (finally) satisfying and the music fit together well, flowing very coherently. Though I’m admittedly a bit verbose at times with the opening, even that was fun to write this week. In 68 weekly shows, that complete picture of satisfaction has been pretty rare.

So, let me make my pitch. If you haven’t listened to The Roadhouse, please do. Even if you don’t think you like blues, I think you’ll enjoy the show. Better yet, subscribe and spread the word. You probably already know what you’ll find - an hour of “the finest blues you’ve never heard.”
