… Couldn’t Shoot Straight

According to the New York Times, the Bush administration has made documents public that may serve as a roadmap for building nuclear weapons.

The documents, roughly a dozen in number, contain charts, diagrams, equations and lengthy narratives about bomb building that nuclear experts who have viewed them say go beyond what is available elsewhere on the Internet and in other public forums. For instance, the papers give detailed information on how to build nuclear firing circuits and triggering explosives, as well as the radioactive cores of atom bombs.

It’s interesting, too, that the web release of the documents was spurred on by Republicans in Congress.

The Bush administration did so under pressure from Congressional Republicans who had said they hoped to “leverage the Internet” to find new evidence of the prewar dangers posed by Saddam Hussein.

Add this to the already sizeable list of hard evidence that the Bush administration has virtually no clue about national security. It can only be described as the height of ineptitude and furthers the sentiment that we’re actually less safe in the hands of Republicans.

    Tony,
It seems the public agrees with you! Big victory for Democrats! No more Rumsfeld!

Just looked out the back door. Seems nothing has changed.
I heard the oligarchy is still in control. They are just ruling under a different name.
