Alice’s Restaurant

It’s hard to believe that after all these years on the planet, I’ve missed a significant Thanksgiving tradition - the non-stop play on radio of Arlo Guthrie’s Alice’s Restaurant. Sirius’s The Vault channel is playing it all day long, both the original and a newer version. After two hours, it’s stuck in my head. I’ve been whistling along nearly the whole time and am surprised by how many of the lyrics I actually remember. I really don’t remember this being a tradition, but it’s a good one.
