A bit slow, but not really
December 15th, 2007 | by Tony Steidler-Dennison |It’s been a bit slow of late at “A Penguin in the Orchard,” but not so by any means away from the blog.
Work has us covered up, putting the finishing touches on our pieces of Boeing’s new 787 Dreamliner. We close down from the 22nd through Jan 2nd, so we’re caught in a bit of a crush to wrap up the details before the holiday break.
Home has been exceptionally busy, too. I’ve been working with the Mini dealer all week, finalizing financing and delivery details for the new Pepper White Mini Cooper. We’d originally intended to drive to Naperville today to pick it up. As of last night, however, it still hasn’t arrived. And, we’re in the midst of another 2″-5″ snowfall today. We’re now planning on Thursday, though we might still find a way to make it over today if they call … (not sure I can stay away once I know it’s on the lot!)
And, there’s a small nagging voice in my head telling me that “A Penguin … ” should contain a bit more original content. It just takes me awhile to get those few blogging moments into my head, into the general plan for each day.
In any event, personal Mac stuff and Mini pictures will surely follow in the next few weeks.

No. But we’re going on Thursday. Weather should be good for the 3-hour drive and everything is finally set. I’ll have pictures here and on Flickr.
